Major philosophers include Plato, Aristotle, Cicero, Augustine, Aquinas, Machiavelli, Hobbes, Locke, Rousseau, Burke, Mill, Hegel, Marx, Wollstonecraft, Arendt and Rawls. Major idealogies include conservatism, liberalism, socialism, communism, anarchism, fascism, and feminism. Prerequisites: POLI110 and junior or senior standing; or permission of instructor.
